Sculpture at the Cellar Door
Meet the Makers
Sculpture has moved in. As part of the Queanbeyan-Palerang Arts Trail our restaurant and the vineyard grounds are adorned with sculpture — and on Saturday 10 October at 3pm we’re opening the doors for an afternoon with the artists who made them.
Arrive to a glass of sparkling — or non-alcoholic bubbles, poured with the same ceremony — and a house-made Wild Harvest Board. Then wander, to enjoy the art and meet the makers. A slow Saturday in the hills, a good drink in hand, and the rare chance to ask an artist the question you’d otherwise have to read off a wall label.

Live at Aranya: The Black Owl Duet
Gypsy jazz to open October. Marcus De Pasquale and Ashley Byron return with their duelling guitars for another night of swinging manouche in the spirit of Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France — smoky melodies, racing rhythm guitar and hot club swing that will have you tapping your feet from the first note.

Friday
Live at Aranya: Simon’s Jazz Trio
Eclectic yet effortlessly classy. Simon Halabi on piano, Jeremy on double bass and Mark on drums serve up a sophisticated blend of traditional jazz standards threaded with clever, modern twists. Pair their sound with the native menu and a signature cocktail — dress to impress and settle in.
